The beef specialist hails the wonderous festivities with two delightful yakiniku@home bento boxes – Signature Yakiniku@Home Kit ($68+) and Premium Yakiniku@Home Kit ($88+), that allow guests to grill wagyu in the comfort of their homes. Each box, which serves one, is presented with a built-in mini grill and charcoal for a fuss-free experience of enjoying sizzling hot meats fresh off the grill.
Home celebrations are made better with the Signature Yakiniku@Home Kit featuring Kagoshima A5 wagyu with chef’s choice of cuts and a side dish of the day.
Luxuriate in the Premium Yakiniku@Home Kit showcasing Miyazaki A5 sirloin steak and tenderloin, as well as two side dishes of the day. The former boasts beautiful marbling with extraordinary depth of flavour, while the latter is prized for its tenderness and robust umami.
Both yakiniku kits are served with salad with white goma dressing, Hokkaido rice and four condiments such as yakiniku tare sauce, crispy garlic chips, wasabi, and pink sea salt. The kits also come equipped with two pieces of charcoal, matches, tongs, gloves, and a water pack to douse the flames once done.
The Gyu Bar’s yakiniku@home kits are available from 1 December 2022 onwards, subject to availability, for takeaway via self-collection and island-wide delivery, available daily during lunch (12pm to 3pm) and dinner (6pm to 10pm).
