Density Frozen Custard is run by a brother-sister team; big bro J.R. studied food science at university in the U.S., where he fell in love with frozen custard, a soft ice cream cousin particularly popular in the Midwest that’s lower in calories and sugar than ice cream or even frozen yogurt. 

J.R. and his sister Sherlyn ended up taking a six month road trip around the U.S., visiting all the frozen custard stands and shops they could find, determined to bring the magic back to Singapore. 

Density occupies a cute little shophouse off Selegie Road, and sources high-quality ingredients, like milk from Wisconsin cows and vanilla beans from farmers in Madagascar.

"Perfect on all levels! This place serves up frozen custard with passion! We understood that the stuff is done inhouse daily for freshness. Its creaminess and texture is nothing we've tasted before; not a single air bubble. We had the vanilla bean and it wasn't overly sweet for my 4 year old; frozen custard was also served at a temperature that the lady boss said "so that it won't numb your tongue". And of cos topped with wonderful service - we will definitely be back!"
