AVA rules forbid imports of fresh chicken, but The Meat Club brings you the next best option. Their chickens are snap frozen at the processor in Australia, which means that it is very quickly lowered to temperatures below -70C. This prevents water from crystallizing when it forms ice, hence better preserving the nutrients and proteins in the chicken meat.
