A new star attraction is enthralling visitors from near and far in Sydney, the thriving centre of big events and culture. The creators of the smash Broadway musical WICKED decided to extend its run until January 21, 2024 since it has become a must-see for tourists to the Emerald City. After receiving overwhelmingly positive reviews from both reviewers and viewers, the choice was made.

WICKED is a gripping story about two young ladies in the mythical kingdom of Oz that is based on the Gregory Maguire novel. One has remarkable talents and was born with emerald skin; the other is a lively, blonde soul with ambition. Their transformation from enemies to friends takes place against the backdrop of a society ready to categorise one as "good" and the other as "wicked."

Featuring music and lyrics by Stephen Schwartz and a book by Winnie Holzman, WICKED's enduring appeal is underscored by over 100 major awards, including the Grammy, Olivier, Helpmann, Tony, and Drama Desk Awards.

The outstanding Australian cast, led by Sheridan Adams as Elphaba and Courtney Monsma as Glinda, turns in a spellbinding performance. The remarkable group is completed by Robyn Nevin, Todd McKenney, Liam Head, Adam Murphy, Shewit Belay, Kurtis Papadinis, and Zoe Coppinger.
