The Voices of Singapore (VOS) Festival, Singapore's largest non-competitive choral festival, is back for its eighth instalment to celebrate a Singing Singapore. Set to take place from 4–6 September, the festival will take place at the historic venues of CHIJMES, Capitol Singapore Outdoor Plaza, and VOS Capitol Studios.

Under this year’s theme, “Uniting Voices, Making Change”, the festival aims to create meaningful choral music-making experiences for participants and performers of all ages. At the heart of the festival lies an array of captivating choral performances, concerts, and workshops.

Prominent Guests and Exclusive Masterclasses:

Elevating this year's festival are two renowned choral maestros, Sanders Lau from Hong Kong and Dr. Pawasut Jodi Piriyapongrat from Thailand. Sanders is the Founder and Artistic Director of chamber choir NOĒMA and a multi-faced choral musician himself, spanning classical music, jazz and a cappella; while Dr. Jodi is a Professor of Music Education in Chulalongkorn University Thailand, and a leading choral conductor, clinician and adjudicator.

They will conduct exclusive choral masterclasses, providing participating choirs and conductors with the opportunity to push the boundaries of choral pedagogy and elevate their artistry. Sanders and Dr. Jodi will also be hosting a set of workshops and choral music reading sessions to facilitate cross-cultural learning.
