Local music collective and label Solid Ground is thrilled to announce its first-ever nightlife series, the first of which is set to take place on 29 July, Saturday, at the Ikigai Izakaya (IKI) located at The Riverwalk. This twilight revelry aims to unite music enthusiasts and party-goers, showcasing an exciting lineup headlined by London-based DJ and producer Alan Dixon, alongside local supporting talents. Solid Ground promises a sonic journey filled with pulsating beats, captivating rhythms, and an atmosphere charged with infectious energy—carefully curated to celebrate the diverse sounds of the global electronic music scene while highlighting exceptional talent within the local community.
Alan Dixon, a regular on BBC Radio 1 and recognised by industry taste-makers Mixmag, Defected and Traxsource, will take centre stage. Known for his pulsing big-room Italo house anthems, his energetic presence behind the decks will keep the crowd captivated and grooving until the break of dawn. The rest of the lineup includes Luca V2, Bunny Ross, Sivanesh, Anwar and Stephen Day—all set to ignite the dance floor with intoxicating house tunes.
“We want to introduce people to artists and music from all over the world and create positive bonds with like-minded people who love music and good times as much as we do,” said the members of Solid Ground. "The nightlife scene in Singapore is really starting to buzz again post-pandemic. With our passion and knowledge of electronic music and events, we believe we can build on the already thriving scene here by bringing our own international experience and personal flavour to the community we love.”
