BACARDÍ, the world-renowned rum with over 1,000 medals for its quality, taste, and innovation, is happy to announce the return of its annual Rum Month festivities in July. This year's celebration promises to be bigger and more vivid than ever before, with over ten events spread throughout 53 participating establishments.
The event celebrates three renowned rum cocktails: International Piña Colada Day on July 10, International Mojito Day on July 11, and International Daiquiri Day on July 19. These events will provide celebrants with the opportunity to sample classic rum cocktails as well as unique twists on familiar favourites.
The month-long celebration begins with guest shifts at Neon Pigeon and Origin, including well-known bar teams like Shanghai's The Odd Couple and Bangkok's Lost in Thaislation. The celebrations culminate on July 11 at Jungle Ballroom, where Mojito Day will be commemorated with a summer party featuring Head Bartender Adrian Besa and an all-female roster of skilled bartenders.
Mixology professionals Sylvia Chong from ATLAS, Giselle Lee from Employees Only, June Baek from Ola Beach Club, and BACARDÍ-Martini Brand Ambassador Maria Kim will share their unique interpretations of the traditional BACARDÍ Mojito. Attendees can immerse themselves in Caribbean sensations, complemented by a tropical DJ set, creating a scene evocative of Havana's beaches.
Yardbird's Soul of Miami party, held on July 20, welcomes attendees to enjoy a vibrant atmosphere with unique mixology and lively entertainment. On July 22, Smoke & Mirrors will celebrate ReCraft in Manila, while MO BAR Singapore will host a bright tiki festival on July 27. Both events will feature live music and specially designed drinks that recreate the Daiquiri, Piña Colada, and Mojito. These activities will highlight the diversity and ingenuity of rum cocktail mixing, which is ideal for celebrating the summer season.
In August, Bangkok's Dry/Wave Cocktail Studio will take over Offtrack, while Penang's Backdoor Bodega will serve BACARDÍ rum drinks in Native. These events will continue highlighting BACARDÍ's diverse collection of traditional and premium rums.
