- A new executive chef! Chef Budi is a native Indonesian who has honed his culinary skills over the past 15 years both locally in Batam and Bintam as well as places more distance such as the Maldives and Dubai. Telunas Private Island is looking forward to seeing how Chef Budi not only upholds but also improves upon the Private Island cuisine standards.
- Yongki, a family friendly bartender with 7 years of bartending experience in Indonesia’s capital city Jakarta, has also joined the Telunas Private Island staff and is ready to serve everything from Martini’s to Long Island Ice Teas to mocktails with a more tropical Telunas bent.
- In addition to drinks being served by the pool, Telunas has built a new outdoor bar that has both an island vibe and a classy feel. With its furnishings made out of repurposed Indonesian fishing boats, its natural white sandy floor underneath, and ceiling fans overhead, this bar is sure to help guests stay cool and relax even quicker than ever.
- A new midday menu has just been put into place so that guests who get the munchies between meals have nothing to worry about at all. With Chef Surya focused on serving items such as a chicken caesar salad to a club sandwich to a simple side of fries, everyone from mums and dads to the kids should be all good to go.
- Anyone interested in a separate child care area while being on holiday? Telunas has hired child loving college graduates such as Okky, ready to lead kids' activities during certain hours of the day to allow parents with kids the opportunity to holiday a bit more...during your family holiday.
