Working from home has been getting tiresome and boring and the only cure we all can think of is a vacation.
While our wanderlust can’t be satiated, we can definitely take a luxurious staycation and while Singapore is an island full of beach fun, there’s no dearth in the gorgeous boutique hotels here. So, let’s indulge ourselves to some pampering, take a splash in a pool or layback in a jacuzzi, maybe spend some time reading amidst greenery and more importantly, break the routine.

Soak your feet in the cool dipping pool at Lloyd’s Inn with lush greenery all around, a perfect place to unwind and have long conversations. While secluded and away from the bustle of the city, it isn’t too dislocated either and you can walk down to enjoy a sumptuous meal or go shopping. Bring your own booze and enjoy it on their roof terrace and don’t forget to book a room of your preference; they’ve got a reading room with a dedicated armchair, floor lamp and side table.

Vibrant and eclectic, Hotel Soloha has chic decor and a trendy vibe resonating in their ‘jungle siesta’ theme. Their snug, comfy rooms are artistically designed and are equipped with a rain dance-style shower in the bath and a large 4K television. The event space here is lovely and the food at Takeshi Noodle Bar is satiating. We love their 1-for-1 happy hour bar concept and their location makes it easy to explore the little China neighbourhood and enjoy some eats.
