The hotel came into existence as a result of Nigeria’s hosting of the Commonwealth Head of Government Meeting (CHOGM) in 2003 as it received the privilege to accommodate members of the Commonwealth Business Forum.
The property which became NICON Luxury Abuja, upon acquisition by foremost successful Nigerian businessman and entrepreneur Barr. Jimoh Ibrahim (CFR) in 2006 was formerly known as Le Meridien Abuja.
Upon acquisition, the hotel has been positioned to provide unrivaled luxurious lodging and catering services to its teeming guests.
