The Herbs Hotel Hua Hin offers Thai-style boutique accommodations along Petchkasem Road, a 6-minute drive from the city center and the Night Market.
Lying right at the main road, this was nevertheless an extremely quiet room! It takes only five minutes to go to city centre using the frequent motorcycle taxis or Songthaew, and the neighborhood features several small grocery stores, pharmacies and a food stand "court" with excellent fish in the evening.
My Welcome was extremely warm, and I was shown an extremely spacious room with a large bed, surprisingly nicely orange-scented (I usually find room aromas to be too intense, but this was nice and discrete).
The AC was solid, the fridge nice, and the bathroom is large, light, clean, tidy, and has everything the European traveller would expect to find.
The room's interior was tastefully decorated with light colors and textile, featured sideboard tables and chair to actually sit on, a comfy recline, safe and clotheshanger cabinet as well as plenty of drawer space.
The staff is extremely helpful and goes out of their way to help answering questions.

It has an exquisite touch and feel that many other much more expensive hotels are missing for the price of standard hotel. What more can you ask for.
Air-con was very cold and cooled down the room super fast, and we especially liked that the room was very quiet despite the fact of being right next to the main road.
And we very much liked the air diffuser in the room sending out a refreshing herbal scent all the time.
This place is a hidden gem!.
