The Clan Hotel Singapore by Far East Hospitality officially opened on 1 March 2021, making it the first property to debut under The Clan Hotel brand by Far East Hospitality, and anchoring the group’s vision in rethinking what luxury means to a new generation of experience-driven travellers.

Situated at the crossroads of culture and commerce within the Far East Square heritage precinct and Telok Ayer district, The Clan Hotel Singapore is mere minutes away from commercial buildings in Raffles Place and Tanjong Pagar; cultural sites around Chinatown; as well as uniquely Singaporean sights such as Marina Bay and Gardens by the Bay.

The story of The Clan Hotel and its operating philosophy is unique in that it tells the story of our Chinese forefathers in a contemporary setting. The Clan Hotel was built to reflect the success stories of humble immigrants and their strong bond that lasted through the generations, from past to present.

For The Clan Hotel Singapore, it is the story of the Telok Ayer/Amoy district that the property sits in—the touchpoints, services and experiences have been curated to unveil stories of the vicinity and local culture.

The Clan Hotel Singapore has an inventory of 324 rooms across three distinct room categories; Grand Premier, Premier and Deluxe rooms. Signature to the hotel are the MASTER Series rooms, comprising 18 Grand Premier and 60 Premier Rooms, offering highly customised touchpoints catered to the discerning traveller.

Designed to inspire a sense of belonging, the MASTER Series guest experience starts even before their arrival at the hotel, with personalised services like airport check-in, luggage forwarding and luxury airport transfers. Upon arrival at the hotel, guests are greeted with a tea ceremony at the hotel lobby, where self-check-in kiosks are available for those who prefer contactless, instant access to their rooms.

After check-in, all guests will find a welcome amenity kit and complimentary in-room refreshments to enjoy, while soaking in the picturesque view of traditional shophouses and contrasting skyscrapers from their rooms. Each guest of the MASTER Series rooms will have the option of an in-room check-in experience along with a personalised orientation of the hotel, exclusively arranged for by The Clan Keeper.

MASTER Series room guests are also entitled to an all-day breakfast spread to be enjoyed in-room or at the hotel restaurant, luxurious bath amenities with a selection of nourishing essential oils and aromatic salts for an in-room spa experience, a distinct turndown service, as well as access to personal concierge services provided by The Clan Keepers, including personalised shopping and a local precinct tour, among others.

Sky Pool, Level 30 is a calming oasis with a bird’s eye view of the surrounding heritage district, guests may enjoy the hotel’s Sky Pool and Jacuzzi, fitted with semi-submerged lounge chairs on the top floor of the building. Shower Suites and changing facilities available for early check-ins and late check-outs.

During their stay, guests will also experience the various touchpoints by The Clan Collective—a programme and network comprising a varied group of local craftsmen, artists and influential figures, who are widely regarded as keepers of culture and heritage in Singapore. Their contributions amplify the stories of community and culture within the grounds of the hotel—from invoking a sense of space through the hotel lobby artwork to outfitting The Clan Keepers; the curation of an all-hawker-fare in-room dining menu; and producing a locally brewed craft beer with a story to tell.

Decked with floor-to-ceiling windows, QĪN Restaurant & Bar offers a magnificent bird’s eye view of the historic shophouses of Telok Ayer and one of Singapore’s oldest streets. Taking up two levels within The Clan Hotel, QĪN Restaurant & Bar by TungLok Group is open daily to the general public.

Visitors can stop by the restaurant on Level 4 to enjoy creative renditions of Asian classics, all prepared with exemplary cooking methods. Featuring creations like Chilli Crab Crostini, Siphon Mushroom Tea, and ‘Sang Mein’, indulge in QĪN’s extensive menu that showcases Singapore’s melting pot of cultures.

For those who are looking for a place to unwind, QĪN’s bar on the Level 5 provides a wide selection of wines and liquors. To enjoy the full QĪN experience, we recommend visitors to take their pick from “The QĪN Tales” that presents specially concocted cocktails that come packed with flavour and a story to tell.
