Porridge is a great way to start the day as it provides slow releasing energy through whole grains‍.

It provides warmth to your body which helps to increase the metabolism by warming the organs and providing digestive fire
It's a base to which you can add proteins, good fats and crunchy foods that provide a contrast to texture. This all creates a complete nutrient-dense meal

Avoid using highly processed grains like instant oats, shop-bought packed versions that have many added refined sugars and watch out for sugar & preservative-filled plant mylk alternatives.

The best porridge is made from whole grains using preservative-free plant mylk topped with natural energy-boosting flavours. And, I have the perfect vegan gluten-free buckwheat porridge recipe for you!
