With its official launch back in 2019, guests at Summerlong experienced a true taste of the casual, laid back atmosphere of Sunday Vibes.
Summerlong presents the next instalment of Sunday Vibes, Sunday, 23 February 2020, 6pm – 10pm an event on the best day of the week that brings together the restaurant's vibrant food and beverage menu of Greek and Mediterranean flavours, with special brand and DJ appearances. On 23 February 2020, the destination dining venue will be joined by Código 1530 in celebration of World Margarita Day.
We all need summer to last longer, and that is exactly what guests can expect at Summerlong on this day dedicated to the drink that is the very essence of joviality.
Carouse and make merry to a selection of margaritas featuring Código 1530 Tequila - from fun tipples to beat the heat like the Classic Margarita or Frozen Mango Slushies (all slushies priced at $20++), to interesting concoctions like Tommy's Margarita with Código 1530 Blanco Tequila, lime juice and Código Agave syrup; and Jalapeno Margarita with Código 1530 Blanco Tequila, Cointreau, lime juice, Código Agave syrup and fresh jalapeno (all cocktails priced at $18++).
Since a celebration of Margarita Day is not complete without tacos, guests will be treated to a special menu of Greek Tacos, all priced at $10++ each. Highlights include the Chicken Breast with honey yoghurt, Lamb Tahini, White Snapper with saffron aioli, and Falafel with tzatziki.
Sitting by the Robertson Quay riverfront, Summerlong is a destination dining venue, popular for its unique cuisine that showcases Greek and Mediterranean flavours. Taking inspiration from his time spent in Greece, Head Chef Fotis Kokoshi shares stories of his culinary journey through contemporary dishes that are vibrant from plate to palate.
To complement the food, Greek-inspired tipples from handcrafted cocktails to mocktails and spritzers will whisk you away, into the idyllic summers of being in the Mediterranean.
