Relocating from its original home of 5 years at Emily Hill in 2021, Kult Kafe finds itself in another iconic historical location - the grandstand of the former Singapore horse racing track, Turf City, now known as The Grandstand.
As you enter, eye-catching psychedelic murals by Soph O complement the 1970’s brutalist architecture of the building. Inside, the retro-futuristic theme of the architecture continues with lush old world leather seating booths and neon light accents.
For those who have been paying close attention to the evolution of Kafe, this new incarnation marks a welcome return to the playfulness of the early Kult ethos. At its heart, Kafe is designed as an inviting space for people to kick back in good company fuelled by fuss-free food and drink options.
Developed in partnership with Argentinian BBQ Gourmet, Kafe's fresh and diverse food menu includes stuffed pitas, protein bowls and sharing plates with plenty of vegetarian and vegan options. Refreshing "Kultails" made with fresh local ingredients are another highlight at
Kafe. Four different Archipelago Craft Beers are on tap. Freshly made smoothies and speciality coffee and teas are available during the day.
Not just another neighbourhood bar, Kafe distinguishes itself with its long held inclinations to the local music and art scene. The new Kafe houses a dedicated space where artists, makers, and musicians will be invited to run programs and showcase works.
The first of such collaborations is scheduled for September will see Kult Kafe hosting a pop-up shop by EYEYAH! — an educational platform that uses visual communications to break down social issues. Kafe will also set the stage for music events, performances, art shows, film screenings, workshops, and weddings.
