Bangkok’s most tropical cocktail bar, Tropic City, is No. 24 on the World’s 50 Best Bars 2022, and on 9 March from 8 pm to 11 pm will be taking the helm at 28 HongKong Street. Bar Manager Arron Grendon will bring their tropical play on rum cocktails, inspired by tiki techniques and modern complexities, for a one-night exclusive. The Bar at 15 Stamford: Three Guest Shifts on 8, 10 and 13 March
Raise a toast to female bartenders this International Women’s Day. Taking over from the three mixologists at The Bar at 15 Stamford are Sylvia Chong from Atlas, Minji Bae from Papa Doble (previously known as The Old Man), and Sara Demello from Nemesis. On the menu for the evening are six delicious cocktails featuring BOMBAY SAPPHIRE gin. Bartender Sylvia, from the award-winning Atlas bar, is known for her precise techniques and finesse; Min Ji from Papa Doble, No. 61 on Asia's 50 Best Bar 2022, pushes the envelope with her progressive cocktails; and Sara, from Nemesis, is an up-and-coming mixologist with a penchant for creative flavours.

On 13 March, catch the award-winning Bee’s Knees bar in Kyoto, and Koda in Jakarta shaking up cocktails at The Bar at 15 Stamford. Ranked No. 47 on Asia’s 50 Best Bars 2022, Bee’s Knees will be represented by Keisuke Yamamoto, known for his flair bartending. Guests can expect playful interpretations of classic cocktails alongside Keisuke’s larger-than-life personality. Accompanying Keisuke is Yutaka Nakashima of Koda, one of Jakarta’s best speakeasy bars. This dapper bartender is best known for his artistry, thoughtfully crafting one-of-a-kind cocktails based on your preferences.

Smoke & Mirrors: Candelaria (Paris) Wednesday, 8 March 2023
Joining the bar’s celebration of International Women’s Day, bartending duo Patricia Peral and Ophelie Lopez of the world-famous Parisian cocktail bar Candelaria take center stage on Wednesday 8 March, from 7 pm to 11 pm. Candelaria in Paris is inspired by the cosy taquerias of Mexico and will bring some of this culture and flavour to Smoke & Mirrors for one night only. The French bar team will showcase four unique cocktails priced at $28++: the light and tart Cocomos, made with Macallan 12 whisky, petit grain and yuzu; the deep and complex Kind Eyes, a harmonious blend of Macallan 12 whisky, cacao and raspberry; the spicy sweet Champurrado made with Macallan 15 whisky, chili corn and milo; and the refreshingly cool Summer Fizz featuring Macallan 15 whisky, Oloroso sherry, carbonated water and orange bitters.
With Patricia and Ophelie showcasing their cocktail magic behind the bar, this guest shift promises to be a unique and exciting celebration of women in the industry.
