Cable Car Sky Dining, a unique culinary experience offered by Mount Faber Leisure Group (MFLG) on the Singapore Cable Car, presents its signature Stardust Cabin with an all-new menu that pays homage to flavours from across Asia, featuring a selection of quality ingredients.
At $149++ per person (min. and max. two persons per cabin), the premium four-course menu will be available for a limited time from 4 August 2022. Couples will relish the stunning panoramas of the cityscape while dining in the privacy of their own cable car cabin.
With the easing of border restrictions and the return of international travel, MFLG is introducing a refreshed Cable Car Sky Dining experience with the new Stardust Cabin menu. Both locals and travellers can savour unique flavours of the continent with creative spins on elevated dishes.
From the coveted Spanish carabinero prawns, renowned for their large size and distinct flavour, to fresh Hokkaido scallops, diners are treated to some of the most high-quality ingredients in the Cable Car Sky Dining – Stardust Cabin.
The journey begins at Mount Faber Peak as the sun throws an orange-pink hue across the sky, setting the stage for an unforgettable evening. Guests will start off their Cable Car Sky Dining experience at the indoor bistro area of Arbora Hilltop Garden & Bistro, where they will be welcomed with a cocktail of sparkling prosecco and lychee-infused liqueur.
The tropical fruity beverage inspires a refreshing start to the experience as seafood lovers indulge in the deliciously sweet flavours of the Pan-seared Hokkaido Scallop with leek, bacon and Japanese mirin. Then, tuck into the rich, buttery fragrance of Spanish Carabinero Red Prawn with caramelised lime and garlic aioli.
The smorgasbord of flavours does not stop there – taste one of Europe's most premium ingredients, foie gras, like never before. Slow cooked on a low temperature using the traditional Chinese braising technique of hong shao (or red cooking), it is served with a medley of aromatic Asian spices, onion marmalade and brioche, bringing together the best of European and Asian cuisines in a mouth-watering delight to the senses. Next, is the Scallop Dumpling served in a warm and savoury seafood broth with porcini dust and white truffle oil.
Twilight descending from the skies, couples are invited to settle inside their private cable car cabin to begin their 60-minute adventure, equivalent to two rounds on the Mount Faber Line. While guests take in the unbeatable panoramic vista of the Southern waters of Singapore, the main course is served, paired with a glass of red or white.
Guests can choose between the irresistibly juicy Slow-Roasted Lamb Loin, served with parmigiana risotto, grilled artichoke and rosemary soy, or the Oven-Baked Lobster Tom Yum Goong with the beloved spice notes of tom yum espuma, pearl rice, and gourmet cheese.
Wrapping up the ultimate intimate dining experience, a Lemongrass Detox Infused Tea will be served to guests alongside an irresistible Deconstructed Pandan Ivory dessert, prepared with aloe vera jelly, gula melaka crumble and William pear lemongrass sauce.
Before couples call it a night, they have the option of visiting and ringing Poland’s Bells of Happiness, located just steps away from Arbora restaurant. These bells are a symbol of joy and good fortune, rung many a time by newlyweds and other hopefuls. Couples are also given small bells on which they may write a dear wish and tie on Mount Faber Peak to etch the memory forever.
A vegetarian menu and non-alcoholic beverage options are also available on request.

The Cable Car Sky Dining – Stardust Cabin experience begins between 5:30pm to 6:30pm daily at Arbora Hilltop Garden & Bistro. Last boarding is at 6.30pm.
