Tambapanni Collective is a luxury e-commerce platform founded by Shimna Chandan. It pays tribute to the best of Sri Lankan traditional and contemporary fashion, art, jewellery, travel, and wellness, through a handpicked collection of ethical, bespoke private labels. Inspired by the Kingdom of Tambapanni, the first Sinhalese Kingdom of Ancient Sri Lanka that came into being in the 5th century BC, Tambapanni Collective’s story is an ode to the subtle glamour of yesteryear and an expression of quintessential Sri Lankan heritage and culture. The e-commerce platform is expanding its global presence in phases, starting off with its official launch in Singapore in March 2023.
