The star of every Christmas feast is a succulent roast, enjoyed over heartwarming conversations with loved ones. A must-have is the Double-stuffed Deboned Roast Turkey pictured above ($298, approximately 3.5kg) featuring two deliciously different stuffing recipes.
On one side is a stuffing of Cotechino, a decadent Italian spiced sausage traditionally served during Christmas time. Made with pork meat, rind and lard, the sausage adds savouriness to the turkey, and is encased with another layer of minced Cumberland pork sausage.
French chestnuts, fresh mushrooms and braised leeks on the other side is a moreish stuffing that lends earthy, rustic flavours. A true gourmet highlight, the easy-to-slice boneless turkey is good for 10 to 12 persons, and is served with roasted potatoes, carrots, and homemade apple gravy.
