The people at Spatula have been baking and churning out delicious (and aesthetically pleasing!) halal cakes since 2012. Starting out as a cupcake boutique, they then soon went on to delve into the world of bespoke cakes. Over the last few years, they have shifted their focus slightly, and their core business now falls onto decorative artisan cakes for special events like birthdays and weddings.

Get your knives and forks out for it’s Cake o’ clock! Going along with the Instagram trend these days, you can see pictures of cakes you just won’t want to cut. These are tri-layered blocks of sheer joy packed with flavours like chocolate chip cookie dough, pandan gula melaka, banana salted caramel, lychee rose bandung and lemon curd meringue. Need a little extra? It’s okay to indulge. They are best known to make things interesting with edible gold and effects like chocolate drip and watercolour gradient, hand piped 3D buttercream flowers and the rosette piping technique. Who doesn’t love an eye candy?
