We were too, and this is when we found Baggie’s, an online store making it convenient for you to get meat delivered to your home every day. They offer free delivery six days a week if you order for S$100 and also deliver meat the same day if you order before 12 pm. Plus, you’ll love the variety of fresh meats available with all the popular cuts as well as cured meats were all the cutting and curing is done in-house.
Baggie's came about because we couldn't get quality biltong in Singapore, something we used to enjoy a lot when we were living in London. We decided to make our own batch of biltong, and it turned out great! From there we quickly we went from our small first batch, to making for friends on the island. Due to the reception our biltong received, we opened our shop in the Fortune Centre, less than 6 months later.
As you will likely know, biltong is a cured meat delicacy originating from South Africa, where Mark is from. We have since expanded into fresh meats a produce speciality sausages, boerewors, another South African favourite, as well as procuring and producing meats for everyday cooking, with a focus on quality and value. Fast forward to today, and we have increased our handmade cured meats to include droewors, chilli sticks, cabanossi, and we have a large range of fresh meats available for purchase.
We have a store in Bugis with an amazing local team where we produce cured meats in our custom built meat curing chamber. We sell our products in store, online via our website http://www.baggiesbiltong.com and through Redmart.
We're still at the beginning of our journey with so much to do. We are excited for our growth and improvement in all the areas that matter to us most.
