Pet Lovers Centre (PLC) has just announced the launch of its latest offering, a free telehealth consultation service that is integrated with its Pet Care General Enquiries Live Chat channel.
Pet owners in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, and Vietnam are invited to contact PLC’s Pet Care Consultants on urgent matters that require expert intervention on matters of general pet care and wellness, particularly in the absence of immediate access to a veterinary professional.
“This new service will help not only our valued customers in Singapore and surrounding regions but also the global pet parent community,” says PLC’s Head of Marketing, Crispian Leong. “We seek to help pet owners avoid unnecessary travel and save time by offering a teleconsulting service that will complement our retail operations in the region.”
The service provides pet parents with a convenient, safe and social-distancing-friendly consultation channel for questions about pet nutrition, pet care, and the general health of their furry friends. The service is currently available in English, with plans to roll out support in other languages in the near future.
Pet owners can consult with Pet Care Consultants on any day of the week between 9 am and 10 pm GMT+8 except on Thursdays and Fridays between 9 am and 5:30 pm GMT+8. Based on their needs and their location, they may be directed to a nearby retail store or the corresponding e-commerce web page.
Remote consultations also offer the benefit of the healthcare provider being able to assess a pet’s condition in a real-time manner and in surroundings it is comfortable with. PLC’s Pet Care Consultants are a valuable resource when pet owners need advice on how to promote the wellness and longevity of their pets.
