Chimichanga, a well-known Mexican restaurant and bar, will celebrate Día de los Muertos in a new and exciting style this November. On the 2nd, there will be two hallmark events: a Rave in the Mall at Chimichanga VivoCity and the renowned Día de los Muertos Party Bus, which combine cultural celebration with high-energy entertainment.

Día de los Muertos, or the Day of the Dead, is a beloved Mexican celebration that honours deceased loved ones with colourful altars, vivid decorations, and joyful activities. Chimichanga is putting its own spin on this tradition, transforming its VivoCity site into a vibrant rave for one night only. Beginning at 6 p.m., the arena will be lit up with brilliant displays, while live DJ sets add to the evening's excitement.

As the night unfolds, the party becomes more intense—by 10 p.m., Chimichanga will have fully transformed into a rave, with deep house beats produced by a stellar lineup of DJs including LTLX, Alex, Mako, Sivanesh, and Vanan M. Attendees can also expect an immersive experience, with face painters available starting at 9:30 p.m. to make classic sugar skull patterns.

The unique "Rave in the Mall" concept distinguishes this event in Singapore, allowing partygoers to experience Chimichanga in a whole new light. With lights flashing, beats dropping, and cocktails pouring, this is an unforgettable way to remember the Day of the Dead. Chimichanga will accept table reservations before the party, allowing attendees to savour some of their favourite Mexican meals before moving into party mode. Light nibbles will also be provided for those who wish to refuel beyond 10 p.m., ensuring the right balance of food, fun, and fiesta.

The excitement does not stop there. Chimichanga's Día de los Muertos Party Bus returns for its third year, promising an exciting night out at different locales. The pre-party starts in Chimi's Marina Bay, with sugar skull face painting and cocktails. The party bus then travels to Chimichanga Holland Village, where guests can continue their celebrations before arriving to VivoCity for the widely anticipated rave.

The Party Bus experience is meant to maintain the momentum by providing a nonstop party atmosphere. Tickets include three cocktails, three shots, and gratis face painting for a truly immersive Día de los Muertos experience. Whether you come for the rave or the ride, Chimichanga has created a celebration that combines tradition and modern exuberance, making it one of the most thrilling ways to celebrate this cultural event.

Chimichanga's Día de los Muertos celebrations appeal to all. Aside from the dance and party bus, there's a complete schedule of events, including family-friendly options. Check their website for more information on how to celebrate at their various locations.
