Launching later in the year, Jacques has been a trademark of Oceania Cruises, captivating guests on Marina™ and Riviera™ and prepared to enthral diners on Allura and her sister ship, Vista™.
Considered the brand's culinary grandfather, Chef Pépin is Oceania Cruises' first Executive Culinary Director. Along with two great Executive Culinary Directors, Eric Barale and Alexis Quaretti, he is adding innovative flair and fresh tastes to the menu. The next version of Jacques promises a fusion of traditional French cuisine with creative ideas influenced by nostalgic childhood dinners of Chef Quaretti.
Highlights are veal medallion in morel sauce, duck with Grand Marnier-infused orange sauce, and elegant vegetarian choices. The restaurant's trolley will include classic French delicacies such profiteroles and crêpes Suzette for dessert buffs.
The artistic presentation of meals like steak tartare by the tableside service enhances the dining experience at Jacques. The restaurant features custom crockery, glassware and silverware that accentuate the core of 'l'art de la table', therefore establishing a real Parisian bistro environment.
