AIBI International, a household name in health, beauty and fitness, celebrates its 37th year of innovation by answering the call for creative projects to transform State properties and land into vibrant places for the community.
Launched by the Singapore Land Authority (SLA) and Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA) in 2019, the RSVP programme called for tender proposals that can inject vibrancy and enhance the character of precincts.
With the launch of AIBI Maxwell, Tanjong Pagar, one of the oldest historical districts in Singapore, is now the first to have a unique wellness playground suitable for all ages.
AIBI Maxwell’s world-class wellness system consists of six concepts - an AIBI showroom, Dr.Well, RE: GYM, Huggs with Fitmeal and an abundant outdoor MW Space that will play host to regular sports and lifestyle events. The exterior’s fitness corner, dog gym, playground, swings and seating are also open for public use both day and night.
Housed on the second floor, RE:GYM is a state-of-the-art facility that's more than just a gym. One can expect professionally planned group classes such as RE:SPIN and RE:HIIT and to revitalise their entire fitness experience with guidance from elite personal trainers.
The proprietary Dr.Well program at AIBI Maxwell meanwhile help participants gain a better understanding of their brain health and learn how to optimise it through data-driven tests reviewed by professional therapists. Dr.Well’s programs and facilities will help with stress and fatigue management, ultimately improving sleep, productivity and performance.
At the launch of AIBI Maxwell, attended by Guest-of-Honour Minister for Home Affairs and Minister for Law K Shanmugam, guests dined on healthy and organic meals from Fitmeal and enjoyed a tour of AIBI Maxwell’s extensive indoor and outdoor offerings.
Importantly, AIBI also announced its maiden foray into connected fitness through a partnership with Uniigym, a cloud-based virtual fitness application that utilises AI technology to deliver an interactive fitness experience.
Uniigym’s AI can create content 8-10 times faster than professional fitness video editors and has motion-detection systems that can allow content to "self-generate" music and special effects. Popular TV host and actor-producer Allan Wu was also unveiled as its first local celebrity trainer for the Uniigym app.
Uniigym is available on both iOS and Google app stores, one can book a class at AIBI Maxwell at www.aibimaxwell.com.
