It wasn’t easy to bid farewell to her, especially after all that she’s done for us. Just recalling when she said goodbye to my little one brings me to tears.
Apart from the usual testimonies you hear about @pemconfinementnanny confinement nannies (good food, taking good care of the baby and mummy etc), Auntie Ah Tuan has also formed a great bond with all of us, including my parents and siblings who aren’t living with us but visit every now and then, and our little one as well. We’ve learnt so much from her.
Under her close guidance, we’ve both slowly gained confidence in handling our baby when she cries/is fussy, changing her diapers, bathing her etc.
We couldn’t have made it through the confinement period without Auntie Ah Tuan for sure. Getting up for night feeds must not have been easy for her, especially when she also had to do some housework, take care of baby, cook all my three daily meals, prepare my red date tea, prepare my herbal shower water and hand-washing baby’s laundry.
I can’t even do what she does. For all that, and also for the snippets of conversations we’ve had in between feeds/diaper changes/meal prep, I’m very thankful.
I highly recommend Auntie Ah Tuan (Sim Chu Tuan, #1519) from @pemconfinementnanny, esp for first time mums. I hope we’ll meet again in the future.
