If you are keen to try something a little different, pack up the kiddies early and head to Marina South Pier to catch the ferry to St. John’s Island.
A mere 6.5km south of S’pore, this tiny island is home to sandy beaches and many a winding walking track.
Bring the sand toys too so junior can build sandcastles whilst you sip on your wine water.
