‘Aqua Reflections’ is one of Mishell’s bold new pieces from her latest yet-to-be-released collection, “The Divine Goddess Collection.” Here is a little sneak peek video of her multi-layered and uniquely laborious process into this beautiful original paintings.
Mishell is known for her use of vibrant colours and unusual colour combinations and textures to form a dynamic and delightfully surprising multi-dimensional experience to the art viewer. Her artworks are all one-off and unique whereby no two pieces are the same.
When asked where Mishell gets her inspirations from, she replies “Everywhere - life and beauty is all around us! And especially so from the last eleven years of living in Singapore and the tropics.”
Mishell is a budding multicultural artist and life expressionist, passionate about communicating her love for life through her use of vivid colours and bold techniques found in her iconic artwork. Mishell has exhibited at a large number of art exhibitions, shows and fairs around the world.
Mishell’s latest extremely well relieved show opened during Singapore Art Week back in January 2020 in conjunction with Curate International at the Royal Park on Scotts. Mishell has since completed, ‘Zahra’ a massive multi-textured bold artwork mural for the Annie Sloan Boutique in Singapore featured at Cluny Count and a solo pop up show at Maduro Singapore.
Mishell’s signature brush strokes and texture seen in that of her Happiness, Botanicals, Watercolour and Sensual Series are credit to her ever expansive and evolving work.
She has been liberated from the constraints of traditional techniques and preconceptions of what and how art should be, using her distinct style and vibrant colours as an avenue to communicate her inspirations and messages to the world.
