Nestled within a building with a rich heritage, Temasek Shophouse is a co-working hub bustling with social enterprises and non-profit organizations as well as a multi-purpose event venue. MINIWIZ’s presence in Temasek Shophouse can be felt beyond the office as upcycled furniture can be found in the common spaces as well. Like-minded individuals working inside the shophouse can relax in Hops Chair (made with Polli-Ber™) while their laptops are placed safely on a table made from recycled materials such as coffee cups or marble.

Miniwiz was founded way back in 2005 by architect and structural engineers Jarvis Liu and Arthur Huang with the intent to create high performance materials from consumer waste! Although, they’re Taiwan-based, Miniwiz has set up shop in Singapore with Temasek Shophouse as their co-working partner. Settle into their signature Hops Chairs made with Polli-Ber plastic, see Coca-Cola bottles transformed into ceiling panels, and sofa covers, and maybe take home a table made out of used Starbucks cups.
