Haze is back in Singapore. Not only it is annoying, it is also threatening our health.
While outdoor food and beverage outlets have borne the brunt of the haze, some food delivery companies have ben reporting an increase in orders in the past 7 days. Meanwhile e-commerce platforms have seen a rise in sales of haze-related products such as N95 masks, air purifiers and eczema cream. While we can only hope for the best with the kind assistance from the rain and wind, we have to deal with this unfortunate situation. This situation really has become the fourth season of Singapore. Boost your immune system

Stay Indoor
When PSI level hits above 100, if you are able to, it is best to say indoors. Close your windows, turn on your air purifier and your air conditioner and enjoy a day working from the comfort of your own home.
Wear a mask when going out
When the PSI level enters the unhealthy range or hazardous level, it is best to wear a mask when you go outside. Use the N95 mask in this situation. A surgical mask is helpful to provide a barrier and reduce discomfort by haze, but not effective for fine particles 2.5 microns or smaller.
Keep yourselves hydrated
It is best to keep yourselve hydrated. Drink lots of water, liquid, Taverner’s Honey Nectar or any other drinks to keep hydrated. These liquids will also help you to flush out the haze toxins that are in your body.
Making full use of a delivery services
Food delivery and groceries are one of the best ways to reduce your movement when the haze hits. There are so many options in the market, you can almost get everything deliver, including your N95 mask.
Be vigilant
Monitor the children, elderly and people with respiratory disease closely. Don’t hesitate to consult your doctors and get them to A&E if you are not feeling well.
