The five-year-old brand, which started as a men’s line, is expanding to fulfil the increasing demand for fashionable clothing for women of all ages and sizes
DUXTON Women is set to ignite a transformation in the Asian fashion industry with its unwavering commitment to quality, style, and inclusivity. Seven monochrome pieces, including kimonos, kimono dresses, hoodie dresses, tunics, crop tops and skirts, are part of the locally created line. Sizes from S to 3XL/4XL are available, with prices starting at SGD75. DUXTON’s dedication to inclusivity and producing high-quality fashion is reflected in the very fabric of its brand, which features people with a diversity of body types in campaign shoots as well as sourcing, manufacturing and collaborating with suppliers in Bali on sustainable and ethical practices.
The brand believes high-quality clothing that makes women feel amazing should be available for all body types. Duxton was founded five years ago by husband-and-wife duo Dustin and Iris Ramos; they quickly recognised a gap in the market here in Asia which despite having a thriving marketplace for women’s fashion, still offers few options for larger sizes.
"The collection was inspired by the growing need for size-inclusive apparel in Asia,” said Duxton co-founder Iris Sangalang. "Our commercial shoot was a highlight for us since we had models of all sizes and ages who looked and felt confident in our range. We knew we were onto something wonderful when our 3XL model, a mother of two, said she had never felt so beautiful and sexy in clothes before; and we want all women to feel the same way.”
DUXTON Women made its official debut at the Boutique Fairs Spring Summer 2023 edition at the Singapore F1 Pit Building in March 2023, and will be accessible for a two-month pop-up at 75 Duxton Road, Singapore 089534
