The owners Magali Pascal a fashion designer and Matt Neville, a photographer rebuilded this incredible situated gem after it was burned down to the ground end of 2013. Magali Pascal and Matt Neville, each had a clear vision. It turned out not to be quite the same but their differences created just the right amount of Creativity needed to re-produce something really special in this gleaming all-day dining restaurant.
“Everyone really loved the old Corner Store, so we knew we had to do something that had spirit and heart. We were creating something new, but it had to feel like it had history, its own stories,” adds Magali.
It was and still is an iconic Restaurant everyone knew and gets to know who lives in Seminyak or comes for a visit. Expat Choice visited many times and always brings a bunch of friends to this venue to enjoy great food coupled with amazing Service every day.
On a normal hot Bali day, it's nothing better than a refreshing Coconut or some Smoothie. Some of us go straight in and enjoy a crisp ice-cold beer, here in Bali everything is allowed.
We sat down on a Thursday and ordered the massive Chicken Parmigiana with French Fries. It's almost impossible to finish it all and we definitely recommend a couple of beer to flush it down. They have a great variety of Cocktails too so we weren't leaving that fast. We simply had a great time and want everyone to receive the same satisfaction.
Plus in August they'll announce the winner who receives 50 million Rupiah, so that could be a life changer for some. Thanks to the owner, who made this possible. Without you, Seminyak wouldn't be the same.
