The one thing which doesn’t fail to amaze us is how Singapore wins the hearts of all those who choose to live here and make them feel right at home.

We’d like to believe the ever-changing dining scene here has something to do with it. This article brings you an array of new restaurants to try curated for your convenience by Expat Choice. Image Credit: Oumi Facebook Page

California Republic

California Republic

A cosy dining space with ambient lighting, California Republic ticks all the boxes when it comes to a good vibe. What we love here is the concept of cocktails where you can order a drink with zero to the standard amount of booze quantity. For instance, get a full proof Tiffany-Twisted for the high spirits or go for a half proof Flower Child for half the amount or a zero proof El Segundo for no alcohol at all. The food here is absolutely divine and we recommend Grilled Calamari, Lazy Man’s Cioppino, Crispy Potatoes, Gnocchi, and Gelato. Image Credit: California Republic Facebook Page

Are you picky while choosing your morning cuppa? KYŌ Kohee at Robinson Road gives you plenty of options as they not only have the usual fix like Mocha, Espresso, Black, and White Coffee but they also have a variety of Japanese Tea. Try their Okumidori Matcha with or without milk and we highly recommend their signature iced caramelised coffee. They’ve also got Chocolate Milk and Cold Brew Royal Milk Tea. If you need a little pick-me-up with your cuppa, you can order some croffles, a fruit cup, or even a banana. Image Credit: KYŌ Kohee Singapore Facebook Page

Celebrate Italy while still in Singapore by visiting a mere few days old, Forma. Each shape of pasta you find here is all made in house and the taste will make you bring your fingers together as you exclaim, ‘Mamma Mia!’ Try their delicious antipasti of braised baby artichokes with stracciatella, fried zucchini blossoms, and cod balls. Oumi is located in the swanky CapitaSpring tower and offers a refreshing view of the Marina Bay. They have a wide selection of tea and sake as well as selected shochu and umeshu.
