A speakeasy restaurant. By day, it's a bakery that's been there for the past 22 years. By night, the satans come in and wreck havoc. By the by, their cocktails are served with a pastry.
Despite what the name suggests, there’s absolutely nothing wrong with the delicious nosh and potent cocktails at Sum Ting Wong. Amongst their cocktails, Gay Ming is perhaps their strongest. It is concocted with whisky, DOM Benedictine, maple syrup, and bitters.
The drink is topped with a smoked chilli padi, a bite of which will take your tastebuds for a ride. Do enjoy a lovely set dinner for two featuring Sichuan-style Foie Gras with Mantou, Grilled Asparagus with Smoked Duck Breast, Smoked Wagyu with Miso Butter Sauce, and for dessert either an egg or a yam tart.
