Studio 1939 proudly presents the "Palette of Sounds" cocktail menu, an amazing blend of art, music, and local spirits. This revolutionary collection promises to reinvent the drinking experience by seamlessly combining the realms of art and music into a symphony of flavours.

Each cocktail is more than simply a beverage—it's a painting, a canvas of brilliant colours and harmonic melodies designed to stir the soul, created by Bar Manager and Head Barman Kavish Hurrydoss. Each creation on the "Palette of Sounds" menu is a deliberate assemblage of regional spirits and locally obtained ingredients, much like a painter uses a palette to mix colours and realise their artistic vision.

Kavish Hurrydoss

"The cocktails are easy and simple, yet fun and complex," says Kavish. The cocktails, like a work of art, are open to interpretation depending on your perspective."

The menu, a celebration of innovation, offers a variety of alternatives for every palette and occasion. From the silky jazz-infused notes of Ottis Rock (S$26) to the abstract expressions of Rhythm and Vase (S$23), a low-ABV mix of vermouth, watermelon, yuzu, citrus, Perrier, and Aer—each cocktail is designed to trigger certain emotions and generate unique sensory experiences.

The menu displays abstract and colour-forward images for each drink, directing guests to their ideal creation and adding an artistic element to the experience. The Imagine Dragon (S$23), a highball-style cocktail inspired by the vivid crimson hues of dragon fruit, and the spice-forward Sun Won't Set (S$26), inspired by Indian flavours, feature chaat masala, mango citrus, mace, and curry leaf combined with mezcal and tequila. The Voice of the Moon (S$21) celebrates Cambodian Samai Kampot pepper with rum, starfruit, coconut, lime, and salt.

For the daring, there's the Trust Your Barman (S$28) option, in which the bar team collaborates with the guest to create a personalised drink—from base spirit and flavours to presentation and style.
