Gyoza King by Ramen Keisuke, is located just two doors down from the perennially packed ‘Ramen Keisuke Tonkotsu King’. The Juicy pan-fried Gyozas are really another culinary avenue to showcase the superb stock (the Gyozas are filled with Ramen broth) created by Keisuke Takeda, a top Ramen Chef in Japan. There are 3 types of Gyoza available, all named after its sister ramen outlets with each different Gyoza filled with different Ramen broth for extra flavor. Tucked amongst the rows of Japanese restaurants in Tanjong Pagar, the Keisuke ramen chain has an eatery dedicated wholly to the gyoza. No longer a sidekick to ramen, the change-up at Keisuke Gyoza King casts gyozas as the main highlight – and diners can choose to have the dumpling with a selection of sides, miso soup, and rice. The juicy pan-fried gyozas are indeed a culinary avenue to showcase the superb stock created by Keisuke Takeda. Beyond the pork and vegetables, the dumplings are additionally filled with the flavourful Ramen broth. Three versions are offered here: pork with tonkotsu broth, a prawn version with crab broth, and chicken with chicken broth.
