On an unassuming little street corner in West Coast, you’ll find unassuming pizza joint Dario pizza&more firing out some of the most formidable pizzas in Singapore.
Dario (previously at Al Forno) gets up with the earlybirds to make up his day’s batch of pizza dough.
You can tell the pizzas are made with love: the crusts are crackly, chewy and thin; the tomato sauce is deep flavoured and rich; the toppings are great quality — no fake cheese that goes immediately hard and cold.

"We wanted to avoid a Valentine's Day restaurant at all costs but definitely wanted pizza. In a previous life, I worked in restaurants - very known Italian celebrity restaurants - so I know a good pizza and authenticity when I see and taste it. First time in years that I finished a 12" on my own, not a crumb left on the plate. Then we ordered take away for a third one. We love this new find - a "hole in the wall" real pizzeria with awesome food. The owner makes the pies himself and the service staff are quick, efficient and friendly.
