As Singapore approaches its 59th National Day, COTE Korean Steakhouse is preparing for a series of exceptional events that celebrate both the country’s vibrant spirit and its own Michelin-starred heritage. Partnering with the Sky Bar at COMO Metropolitan Singapore, COTE invites guests to a unique fusion of Korean barbecue, fireworks, and world-class cocktails under the banner “A Toast to Singapore.” This special occasion will unfold across several dates, including a grand National Day celebration on August 9.
The festivities begin at COTE Singapore, where diners can savour the restaurant's acclaimed Butcher’s Feast. This sumptuous offering features an assortment of USDA Prime and Australian Wagyu beef cuts, complemented by an array of Korean side dishes. Guests in groups of four will be treated to this culinary delight before moving to the Sky Bar for a spectacular fireworks display.
The evening includes a choice of premium champagne—either Taittinger or Billecart-Salmon—served at a reserved cocktail table. As the night progresses, attendees can continue the celebration at Millim Bar, COTE’s urban jungle-inspired cocktail haven, enjoying innovative cocktails such as the Take Me Away—a refreshing twist on the classic Gin & Tonic—and other exclusive dishes like the Orh Luak-inspired Korean Oyster Omelette.
In addition to the National Day celebrations, COTE will also host BARSTARS on August 3. This annual event, organized in collaboration with The Orientalist Spirits, brings together ten of Asia’s top bartenders for an evening of cocktail artistry. Held at Millim Bar, BARSTARS promises a dynamic showcase of inventive cocktails crafted from The Orientalist’s ultra-premium spirits.
This year’s lineup features renowned bartenders from across the globe, including Arjay Guarin Abaleta from COTE Singapore, Francis Madrigal from Sky Bar, and many more distinguished names from Hong Kong, Thailand, China, Korea, and Japan. Guests will have the opportunity to sample three cocktails for a flat fee and interact with industry leaders while enjoying a vibrant atmosphere enhanced by lush greenery and live music.
