Start with an exceptional spread of Malay specials such as the Ikan Lemak Chilli Padi, a local barramundi bathed in a creamy coconut gravy mixed with turmeric and chilli, or the Ayam Buah Keluak, chicken sautéed in blue ginger and mixed in black nut gravy. Other meaty indulgences include the beef rendang which is a creamy mix of beef and fragrant lemongrass.

Diners can also enjoy a repertoire of barbequed meats such as Betis Kambing, a delicious roasted Australian lamb leg rubbed in local spices, choices of chicken, mutton, and beef satays, or the juicy roast duck. Lovers of classic Chinese selections can revel in StraitsKitchen’s Chinese signatures such as the sweet and sour chicken, a comforting chicken broth with sea cucumber and dried scallop slow-cooked for six hours, black pepper sustainable tiger prawns, and the crowd-favourite crisper snapper in superior soy sauce.

In the Indian station, grab a bowl of Chef Solanki’s famed butter chicken next, or a medley of other Indian delicacies such as gosht masala, made with lamb and spices, or the kadhai jhinga, which is a savoury mix of sustainable tiger prawns and fragrant herbs and pair them with the lamb shank biryani, naan or murtabak.

An array of succulent tandoori-style meats are served such as the tandoori machi, made with sustainable barramundi; or the tandoori black tiger prawns that have been charred till golden brown. StraitsKitchen also serves a multitude of international cuisine, including quintessential local dishes such as Singapore laksa, Hainanese chicken rice, roast meats, and popiah.

Round up the feast with a selection of beloved traditional desserts like the assorted Nonya kueh, sago gula melaka with chewy tapioca pearls in coconut milk, pulut hitam, ice kachang, or chendol. Don’t miss out on the delectable mien jiang kueh, a bite-sized local pancake enveloping a layer of generous peanuts, or the freshly made organic banana fritters and fried durian balls, which have a warm and velvety interior and a crisp exterior.
