Peppermint Restaurant at PARKROYAL COLLECTION Marina Bay will offer an outstanding Korean culinary experience with its "Seoul Good!" buffet from May 3 to June 2, 2024. This limited-time event features various iconic Korean cuisines, mixing traditional flavours with a modern touch to please every palate.
Diners can try Soegogi Miyeokguk, a healthful seaweed soup with Wagyu beef shabu, and the decadent Korean Cheese Grilled Lobster. The menu includes a range of fried chicken selections, including Yangnyeom-Tongdak and Dakgangjeong, which are a delicious combination of spicy and garlic soy flavours. For those who prefer barbecue, the Gogi-Gui offers excellent meats cooked Korean-style, accompanied with lettuce and condiments for a traditional Korean BBQ experience.
Other standout dishes are Samgyetang (Ginseng Chicken Soup), Gulguk (Korean Oyster Noodle Soup), and Kkotgetang (Korean Crab Stew). Nakji Bokkeum, a spicy stir-fried huge octopus with cheese, and Beef Doenjang Jigage, a deep and cosy Wagyu oxtail soybean paste stew, will appeal to adventurous eaters.
The menu also includes Tteokbokki, a hot and spicy rice cake dish, and a selection of Banchan, traditional Korean side dishes that complement the main meals. To finish the meal, guests can enjoy traditional desserts including Yakgwa, a sweet Korean wheat honey pastry, and Yaksik, steamed glutinous rice with chestnuts, jujube, and pine nuts. For a refreshing finish, diners can visit the DIY station and make their own Ddalgi Bingsu, a shaved ice dessert topped with strawberries.
The "Seoul Good!" buffet is available for both lunch and dinner, with prices starting at $72++ per adult and $36++ per child (6 to 12 years old) on weekdays and $82++ per adult and $41++ per child on weekends. On weekdays, dinner costs $98++ per adult and $49++ per child, while weekends and public holidays cost $112++ per adult and $56++ per child respectively.
