Avventura presents Made by Kristína in Singapore, two evenings of fine Czech cuisine and more with Czech MasterChef Kristína Nemčková.
On 10 and 11 November 2022, gourmands will be taken on a gastronomic adventure at Eat At My Kitchen in Dempsey Hill, through the creations of the youngest’s MasterChef title holder in the world, Kristína Nemčková. The event will not only revolve around food and wine, but will also be a celebration of the best of Czech artistry and culture - all presented in a home setting.
Foodies can expect takes of modern contemporary approach to traditional dishes, and savour a menu inspired by heritage, that promises to awaken the palate to new sensations.
In 2019, Kristína Nemčková became the first female and youngest winner of MasterChef Czech Republic at the age of 17. She published her first cookbook #Upgrade - a collection of traditional and modern Czechoslovak recipes with her grandmother soon after, which earned Kristína a place on FORBES Magazine's 30 under 30 list.
Kristína graduated from the prestigious Le Corden Bleu Academy in London with a Grand Diplôme® in 2021 and is currently a Demi Chef at the Two-Michelin Starred Restaurant Story in London.
Kristína will be introducing gourmet food lovers to her interpretations of traditional Czechoslovak recipes. Two dishes gastrophiles should be looking forward to are the Pstruh na houbách - a traditional main dish reimagined as an appetiser, made with cured trout and onion mousse, and then marinated in glaze made from trout bones, mushrooms, with an egg yolk; and Svíčková na smetaně - the national Czech food usually prepared for special occasions, considered by many to be one of the country’s best sauce-based dishes – of sirloin beef in bone sauce with roasted vegetable puree, served with Carlsbad dumpling on butter.
Kristína’s menu will also offer an optional pairing with a specially curated small batch innovative natural wines from the vineyards of Milan Nestarec in Moravia, a forerunner among the young European natural winemakers.
Made by Kristína in Singapore in November 2022 is slated to be more than a dining event, it will be a multi-sensory gastronomic experience where diners will also be immersed in some sights and sounds of the history-rich country, leaving with a little taste of the Czech Republic, its culture and beauty.
