An eventful month awaits at the L'Angélus Group of Restaurants this October as the group commemorates the 24th Anniversary of L'Angélus, alongside a fun-filled Halloween and the National Day of Spain. Diners may look forward to spook-tacular specials at Les Bouchons and Tapas,24; while the latter also presents exclusive highlights at the restaurant for an authentic Spanish celebration.
Wine lovers can also anticipate a collaboration between Magnum Opus Wines and the three restaurant brands for a series of wine tasting events; and look out for a special promotion at Tapas,24 on its wine bottles until the end of November – or simply revel in the brand’s affordable 3-Course Lunch Set that comes complete with an add-on option of a choice of house pour, as well as a range of enticing bar bites to go along with its Happy Hour tipples.
L'Angélus
Singapore’s oldest single-location traditional French restaurant since 1998 and known for consistently serving top quality authentic French cuisine, L'Angélus is honouring its 24th Anniversary with mouth-watering limited-time dishes.
Start the celebratory dinner with the brand’s take on a time-honoured Burgundy classic – the Jambon Persillé (home-made pork and parsley terrine, $28), starring an award-winning recipe that showcases the chef’s culinary skills, as it requires tedious and meticulous preparation which spans over three days. Served chilled, the dish takes the form of a terrine – owing to natural jelly from the collagen of pork trotters, complete with pork shoulder and fresh parsley.
Elevate the experience with a beautiful Henri Giraud, Champagne “Dame Jane” Rosé Brut NV – a bottle of full-bodied champagne with complex aromas of red plums, cinnamon, orange zest and oak.
Similarly gracing the restaurant’s menu for a limited time only to honour its birthday is the Roast Milk Fed Veal Tenderloin ($48), featuring succulent Holland milk-fed filet de veau (veal tenderloin), luscious pomme fondante (fondant potato), fancy champignon tourné (fluted mushrooms), and a fragrant sauce aux cèpes (porcini mushroom sauce). Round off the flavoursome dish perfectly with the Jean Vesselle, Champagne Blanc de Noirs “Oeil de Perdrix” Brut NV boasting a pretty core of fruit, lively acids and pillowy mousse on the palate.
As part of L'Angélus’ anniversary celebrations, the brand will also be offering a curated selection of champagnes in collaboration with Magnum Opus Wines on 20 October 2022, from 6pm, with prices starting from $8 for a 50ml glass, and $15 for a 100ml glass.
