This Mother’s Day, Alkove , the casual French bistro by Chef Haikal Johari, will be serving up a special sharing menu featuring an array of delectable dishes to celebrate the special day. The Mother's Day set will be available for dine-in on Saturday 13 & Sunday 14 May 2023.
Largely inspired by Chef Haikal’s background in French cuisine and experience at lauded restaurants like Joel Robuchon and Les Amis, while being influenced by his heritage and local flavours, Alkove offers un-intimidating French fare that does not take itself too seriously.
A cosy interior decked with splashes of yellow, blue and terracotta further enhanced by the beautiful sunlight streaming in through the large alcove windows, Alkove’s intimate setting brings friends and families together to spend quality time with meaningful conversations over French-inspired bistro food.
Good for some couple-time or for the whole family to feast together, the Mother’s Day sharing set menu for 2 or 4 pax ($92.80++/$168++) features all new dishes, including a Spiced Whole Chicken served with assorted juicy sausages, buttery pilaf, and tangy mustard jus, this meal is as drool-worthy as it sounds, Tomato Burrata salad, and a traditional French Seafood Bouillabaisse.
To finish off the meal, the dessert is a Croissant Diplomat Pudding (bread and butter pudding made with croissant) served with mixed berries and vanilla ice cream. Give the gift of flavour and your mom will be thanking you all weekend long.
