Story of Posito Express
Posito Express opened its doors to the world on January 14, 2020. Its Muslim co founders had started Singapore’s top ranked Italian restaurant on Tripadvisor, Positano Risto, two years ago, and a year later, opened their second Positano Risto restaurant, this time in Kuala Lumpur, which also became the top ranked Italian restaurant in Malaysia on Tripadvisor.
What was even more incredible was the fact that Positano Risto achieved this top ranking at the same time in two countries from diners using only halal ingredients and to top it off, serving no alcohol.
It had never been done before. The naysayers were many: How could an Italian restaurant serve pasta without wine and pizza without beer? The quality of the food, excellent service, at value for money prices were cited over and over again by diners from over 100 countries
