Offering a wide range of all-day breakfasts, coffee and cocktails, Wild Honey is great for having a loaded brekkie which can even be turned into a lingering brunch with the addition of wines and potent cocktails. Go for their amazing English breakfast - choice of eggs, poached, fried or scrambled with Canadian bacon, pork and fennel sausage, white pudding, sweet potato hash, sauteed mushrooms, baked beans, grilled tomato and toasted brioche.
Great for big brunch excursions. Portion sizes are generous and coffee is good quality. Service is a bit slow and the wait staff do tend to forget requests (had to remind them about our pilsner and they brought the bill when we asked for milk). Overall, you're paying for the location and food, which is worth it.
Fabulous lunch experience. We were sitting on the outdoor veranda (lovely breeze!) overlooking Scotts/Orchard. Truly an oasis in the city. Food and service were impeccable. We had the vegan version of the cauliflower grains salad, the spiced pumpkin salad and the to-die-for paprika fries. A bit pricey though....
