Best Yakitori Restaurants in Singapore

One of the most popular foods in Japan is yakitori - skewered, grilled chicken.

Yakitori is a Japanese dish where chicken meat is cut into small pieces, skewered on bamboo sticks and grilled. There are usually several pieces on each skewer (anywhere from one to five), which are seasoned and cooked on an open-fire grill. The types of seasoning used in yakitori tend to fall into two main categories: salt and tare or sauce. Salted yakitori have the simplest flavors, while tare is a salty-sweet sauce with a soy sauce base. Although it depends on your sense of taste, in order to enjoy the taste of the basic ingredients, the salt-seasoned yakitori are our recommendation.

Yakitori Yatagarasu

Yakitori

We have voted this place as our favorite place for value-for-money authentic yakitori. It reminded us of our first yakitori experience in Osaka. Their nankotsu (soft bone) has some meat on them thus more flavours released as you chew. Reba was so fresh and cooked to perfection; no yucky taste. Bonjiri was 'oh my God!' tasty! Meat is usually not my favorite and this place won me over with their Fillet and 毛毛 Thigh; they were awesome. I could eat at this place every week!! Love it! Doris Tay reviewed 八咫烏~yatagarasu – 5 star on facebook Contact and Location Details Here
