Local actress Jeanette Aw is leading the scene in Singapore when it comes to exquisite cakes. She debuted the famed WTF (What The Fudge) Brownies in 2021, sparking a craze that resulted in a queue of around 1,000 eager fans. The overwhelmingly positive response made it possible for Jeanette to pursue her passion for baking. She launched her flagship business with the opening of the enchanted Once Upon a Time bakery on Jalan Besar.
Be prepared to be amazed once you enter. The usual cake stores in sharp contrast to an ultra-minimalist bakery. The inside is decorated in a calming tone of white and light wood and features a marble island with a regal display counter showing Jeanette's mouthwatering creations. Jeanette's talent is a result of her education at Le Cordon Bleu Dusit, a prestigious branch of the renowned French culinary institution. Her passion for cooking was sparked here, and as a result, Once Upon a Time was born.
