The next resident of Baker X, a baking studio and café in Orchard Central, is a home-based sauce business, Simply Chilli (@simplychilli.sg). Until 18 December 2022, Simply Chilli presents a selection of all-natural, sugar-free chillies, savoury dips, homemade butters, and soup all carefully made with high-quality ingredients.
Fashion editor turned saucier, Esther Quek started a sauce line, Simply Chilli SG, after noticing a lack of keto-friendly options in supermarkets. With the help and feedback from celebrity chefs such as Eric Teo, the health-conscious homepreneur now makes all-natural, keto-friendly savoury dips and chillies, with various spice levels, and combines sourdough treats to create dip sets. Currently undertaking dietary studies to graduate as a certified nutritional consultant, Esther pivoted towards health and nutrition as a life motivation after losing her father to cancer four years ago. The mission at Simply Chilli is to produce flavourful healthy dips that contain high-quality, nutritionally beneficial ingredients.
Simply Chilli’s menu at Baker X consists of a variety of chillies ($12.90 to $20.90) of different spice levels. Flavours include Mild, Spicy, Extra Spicy, Habanero, and Ghost Pepper; in Hi-Oleic Peanut Oil or Extra Virgin Olive Oil for those with peanut allergies.
