Now, I am not suggesting for one minute that these are the top 5. With such a vast choice and so much competition it was almost impossible to whittle them down; however I have enjoyed each and every one on this list.
If you have any others you can suggest, or have enjoyed any of these please join in and comment below. Cheers!
1. Dibuk House
With dark and sultry, but still elegant decor this would have to be my top choice for a cocktail in Phuket Old Town. Impressive mixologists use local ingredients to create artisan style innovative cocktails. It can get quite busy with the Bangkok crowd at the weekend too, so has a nice buzz about it.

2. The Library
Step inside to be greeted by a cosy, intimate library themed bar (literally with books on the ceiling). It would be perfectly acceptable to think this is all there is to it, but look at little closer and you will see a doorway leading to an entirely different space - Huge, fun and filled with people out to have a great time, and stay out dancing into the early hours. A great gin menu also, featuring Roku among many others.

3. Thalang #31
It does what it clearly says on the wall "Coffee days, Whisky nights" - and as a fairly new addition to the Thalang Road scene. It is worth a try on your next night out as it focusses on local Thai communities and even has a shop inside supporting these.

4. The London Bar
With huge Peaky Blinders paintings, London phone boxes and underground signs, this is exceptionally stereotypical; however it is still a fun place to have a drink or grab some pub style food in Phuket Old Town. Live music is a feature here, with the bands playing mostly Thai songs.

5. Club No. 43
Located on Yaowarat Road near Thalang Road intersection, Club No. 43 features friendly bar staff, a chic interior and good cocktails which combine to create a great mix when looking for a place to have a drink pre or post dinner.

Please remember to drink responsibly.
