Dr Francis Cabana, Director of Nutrition at PetCubes and a renowned Ph.D. wildlife nutritionist developed the special dog diets. He tailored the diets to meet the unique nutritional needs of dogs with specific health conditions while adhering to internationally recognised nutrient requirements.
The four diets in PetCubes' Veterinary Support Diet range are:
1. Ketogenic Diet: This diet supports a dog's ketone energy metabolism, nourishes the immune system and detox pathways, and contains functional foods with nutrigenomic potential. It has been tested on dogs with cancer and has shown promising benefits for dogs with diabetes and epilepsy.
2. Renal Support Diet: This diet contains high-quality protein, low phosphorus, and salt levels, and high potassium content. It has been tested on dogs with chronic kidney diseases.
3. The Pancreas Support Diet is a simple-to-digest, low-fat diet with digestive enzymes and soluble carbohydrates to control pancreatitis in dogs.
4. Digestive Support Diet: This food is designed for dogs with sensitive digestive systems and persistent diarrhoea.
